Thursdays 7 pm MT (6pm PT/ 9pm ET)
Slow down, release tension, and give your body and mind a chance to truly rest in this gentle, deeply relaxing practice. Restorative Yoga uses supportive, floor-based postures and yoga props to help you settle into comfortable positions and remain there for an extended period of time, allowing you to quiet your mind, soften physical tension, and support your body’s natural recovery process. Gentle breathwork, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques are woven throughout the practice to help calm your nervous system, reduce stress, and promote restful sleep.
This class is ideal for anyone feeling stressed, depleted, physically tense, or in need of more recovery, including active people who need time to slow down and restore. All postures are practiced on the floor with the support of yoga props, and modifications are offered to help you find a comfortable position. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and all levels are welcome. Classes are held live on Zoom, so you can enjoy the practice from the comfort of your own home using yoga props or simple household items you probably already have on hand.
